On Wednesday, November 6th the Cape Breton West Islanders held a pre-game Ceremonial Opening face-Off in honor of Remembrance Day.
Participating in the opening face-off are (left to right) Mrs. Darlene Gillis, Ms. Lynn Beaton and Mrs. Mary Gillis all who have sons or daughters currently serving with Canada's Military Forces, while four members (not seen) of the 2632 Royal Canadian Army Cadets formed an honor guard.
Taking the face-off are #4 Bryson Musgrave of the CB Tradesmen and #22 Alex Bonaparte, Captain of the Cape Breton West Islanders. In the back row are Islanders V-President Paul Mac Isaac and Islanders Team President Brian MacInnis.
