RE: Islanders Defenseman Mark Wagner signs with Moncton Wildcats.
The Cape Breton West Islanders of the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League are pleased to announce that 17 year old defenseman Mark Wagner has been signed to a Free Agent Form by the Moncton Wildcats of the QMJHL. This places Wagner on the Wildcats 50 man protected list. The 6’1” 190 lb Wagner is in his third season with the Islanders and is described as a solid two way defenseman who is having a stellar season with the Islanders where he has scored 7 goals and added 11 assists for 18 points in 22 games. Mark is looking forward to attending the Wildcats camp in late August.
