Cape Breton West Islanders Host Alumni Night!
The Cape Breton West Islanders of the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League will be hosting their annual Alumni Night on Friday, December 27th at the Al Mac Innis Sports Center in Port Hood and all former Players, Coaches, Trainers, Executive Members, Liaison Committee Members, Sponsors and Friends of the Cape Breton West Islanders, Inverary Islanders, Rod's Eagles and Nova Midgets are cordially invited to attend. The Islanders will be hosting the Pictou Weeks at 7pm  in a regularly scheduled League game.  Prior to the game a ceremonial opening Face-off will be held, with Captains of all teams going back to the 2005-06 season participating. Immediately following the game, there will be a social upstairs in the Arena from 9pm to 11pm where everyone will have a chance to meet this year's team. There will be local entertainment from 9pm to 11pm, the bar will be open and this will be a great chance to meet up with old team mates. Hope to see you all there.
