On Saturday, January 18th the Cape Breton West Islanders will be hosting "Volunteer Firemen Recognition Night" when they play the South Shore Mustangs in Port Hood at 6pm at the Al Mac Innis Sports Center. There will be a Ceremonial Opening Face-Off featuring local Fire Chiefs. There will be a Ceremonial Opening Face-Off featuring local Fire Chiefs. All Volunteer Firemen in the Cape Breton West Coverage Area will be admitted Free to the game.
On Sunday, January 19th the Islanders host the same South Shore Mustangs at noon. During the first intermission the Port Hood-Judique Timbits will be playing a short inter-squad game. These players range in age from 4 to 6. Come out and see these future Islanders.
